BIGSS '08: Biophotonics and Imaging Graduate Summer School
29th August 2008 - 2nd September 2008
Ballyvaughan, The Burren, Co. Clare, Ireland
The National Biophotonics and Imaging Platform is a state-funded initiative involving all the Irish universities. It is my pleasure to welcome PhD students and early stage researchers to participate in our Biophotonics and Imaging Graduate Summer School August 29 to September 2, 2008, Ballyvaughan, The Burren, Co. Clare, Ireland. The Burren is a really nice location with an unusual landscape and we have an excellent group of international experts who have offered to give approx. five hours training each in their specialist area. The peripheral location was chosen to foster student-tutor interaction and enhance the learning experience.
