The first Annual Meeting, held in Paris, France, alongside the OPTO exhibition 2006, proved to be a great success: Almost 600 experts in the field of optics and photonics from 32 countries attended the event.

The second edition of the EOS Annual Meeting will again be held alongside OPTO in Paris, France, from 29 September to 2 October 2008.
